1. Executive summary
Our organization will work like a charity to supply food to people who need them. We want to offer frozen and dehydrated foods so that they will last longer. Also, canned foods.
We want to catch the attention of teenagers like us and also the attention of adults in our town. With our company the value of the peoples lives will increase and they will be satisfied with themselves. We don't want to ask people for a lot of money, whatever they can donate is very much appreciated. We also would like volunteers to help with our company, so if someone can't donate money they can donate their time. We would also need people to help advertise for our company and to spread our name.
In our area there are no soup kitchens , therefore, we needed our organization, so that similar places to our company will be seen more often in our society.
2. Description of the product.
Our organization will provide food to individuals and families who are going through difficult times and need the help of others for day to day meals.
Product Overview:
The company will be in a place where we will have enough space to hold a minimum amount of people.
People can also get rations and basic food prepared or home.
There will be a kitchen to prepare food and to eat they can be served directly in our store or take it home.
Distinctive value to the consumer:
People can participate in our project by providing capital in the form of money, food or work helping with daily chores.
If possible through space, create an organic garden to promote organic products and help the environment. There will be people at risk of social exclusion that will help carry out.
In Alcoy plan exists "PEIS" whereby needy families flock to the town hall to help them financially with expenses. Red Cross and Caritas also help families who are struggling by providing food. Soup kitchen as such does not exist and, therefore, are the new in this city. Furthermore we give a new image of these organizations: youth group aware of the situation in which we live and, therefore, the amount of basic needs are not being met people who in recent years have become unemployed, could not study because of circumstances, he has finished receiving the delivery ... We are young, dynamic and no conformist and we want those families to live with dignity and their rights as persons covered. It is this image that show the youth that people often receive. But we will show that youth who are really going to bring about change in our society sensitizing people. Today, the changes would be locally. But we believe granite granite could promote cooperation and solidarity to new heights.
3. Potential market and competition
Our market description:
Our project is focus on the families with serious difficulties can arrive at the end of the month. In consequence of the present economical crisis, the number of this families has severely increased, as we can see in the statistics (image 1). The main group that has been affected by the economical crisis, are the ones around forty years old who are unemployed and have scholars. Another very affected group is the old people who have seen their income reduced and in many cases, they have to maintain their children with their five hundred euros salary.
Graph 1. Citizens' situation
The market size.
The project is focus on the town of Alcoy, the place where we live. At present, there are 61.093 in habitants 29.762 are men and 31.331 are women. The unemployed people number is around 8.000 unemployed people.
Turnover.
We estimate that the number of people who may need to go to our room would be between 150 and 200 people. However, we can not supply such a large number of people with incomes would receive firstly.
Keep in mind the "call effect" that is the encrease in demand for a good. This is common in social dining and food stores so we could have problems not being able to meet demand.
Success factors.
No doubt the current economic situation ensures a constant flow of people coming to our organization. We also have some people that because of the crisis donate money to help those who are suffering. The number of volunteers has been forced to increase too.
Entry and exit barriers.
Certainly capital is our main problem. Our income is derived from donations from people and that's a problem. We can not estimate exactly how much money we will have because this may vary at special times like Christmas, Easter ...
Another problem is human capital. People working in our dining room are volunteers so we could have problems if we ever need more.
The last problem, and not less important, that occurs frequently in dining rooms and consolidated is that if we have 50 servings of food and more than 50 people come to us, some will be out to eat, which could generate constant conflicts between these people.
Evolution and growth.
As we can see in the graph, the number of people since 2005 has increased. At present, it is estimated that the number of people who go to social dinings increase by 4% annually and is expected to increase further at that pace or even faster in the next two years.
Graph 2. Growth of unemployed people in Alcoy.
Whenever people are less embarrassed about going to dining rooms because the economic situation has spread throughout the national scene. There is a tendency to high so that the number of people will continue to grow, at least until the start summer of 2013 where unemployment is expected to fall somewhat.
Objective audience
Profile of the person who goes to a dining room
● People with negligible or no income.
● In both Spanish and foreign nationality.
● Often whole families.
● They usually have between 40 and 60 years.
● People who have been evicted.
● People who have lived to a higher level than your personal finances.
Competence
Since this is a social dining and that the purpose of this project is to try to increase the welfare of our city, any entity that helps people is improving food-economic or social welfare.
Locally, three entities act to which we have studied to understand their way of working and how to develop their activities and to the people who focus their efforts in order to work in the best way in our store.
● Cáritas: Participate in the field of food mainly. From a warehouse, distribute food to people who need it. To access services requirements are needed.
It is important therefore that we have seen, have minimum requirements, because they seem to have had problems with people who have tried to get food to live in a good economic situation in order not to spend money in supermarkets.
● La cruz roja: Helps people doing training courses and other activities to encourage people with low mood. It also takes care of immigrants who have problems.
● Ayuntamiento de Alcoy (Dept. de Bienestar Social): Collaborate with the three entities that move locally. Provide information and advice to people with alarming needs. It gives certain amounts of money to troubled families and social workers have to help families.
4. Marketing strategic
To begin our marketing campaign, we need the most number of people helping us. We need volunteers and donors who give us money to carry on our project. We can't obligate someone to donate his money and we accept any quantity of money.
Collaborating with PROYDE we will obtain a good image. Also we will get part of the food that they receive in some solidarity campaigns.
We have talked with the La Salle Alcoy's headteacher and he has said to us that the school could help us if we need something. We are more than 700 students in our school and if some of them collaborate with AlcoyDeepam we could do big thinks in our city.
As we saw in the S.W.O.T. (D.A.F.O) being young is one our strengths. We are 16 years old and it can motivate some teenagers to start projects as ours. As it's said teenagers doesn't do anything profitable, but we want to change the mind of people who think that. Is really important demonstrating that we can do thing in the good way.
1.2Métodos para la captación y atención de personas
ONLINE
-Web: We have a blog and we use it to inform people about all the things related with AlcoyDeepam. We will advertise the names of people who help us giving money or as a volunteer. It could be important because we can increase the number of people helping in associations as ours. Also we have a Youtube channel were we can promote our project. You can visit it in: AlcoyDeepam Offical Site
OFFLINE
Radio: Our intention is to achieve that media help us promoting our project. It could be easy if we present our project in radio and television local departments. Our city, Alcoy, is not a big city and people use them a lot to be informed about the last news.
1.3Principales objetivos
Get enough partners to carry out this project with the intention of help people as much as we can.
Sensitize people about the actual situation, and convince them to help needy people.
Promoting solidarity as a value. Taking advantage of our main straight: we are teenagers trying to change lives of homeless and people with no resources in our city.
5. Financier prevision
5.1 FUENTES PROPIAS DE FINANCIACIÓN
On the one hand, we would receive economical resources through our partners. On the other hand, there are entities such as the Alcoy's town hall or Cruz Roja Spain that would provide us with volunteers and some food resources:
Having parters is really important for us because it allow us to have a constant cash flow.
We have to present our project with transparent and clear objetives because we need people trust us.
We have to provide our partners easy ways to donate money.
Having an important entity helping as could mean that people.

As we can see, in the first year we will have some economical losses because of the difficulty of starting the project. As soon as people know us we could earn more money.

6. Directive team and organization
Our project is composed by tree people. We are studiying in La Salle Alcoy. Also we think people can participate with us as a volunteer.
Rafa Sorolla: He works in the blog and edting our videos. He has computer knowledge and is really important to carry on the project on the Internet.
Development and evaluation of business objectives.
Budgeting of commercial department expenses
Víctor Moreno: Is the CEO of the company. Supervises, organizes and works as spokesperson to spread clearly the message of Alcoy Deepam.
He has responsibilities as a communicator is the leader as a manager.
Pablo Vilaplana: Is in charge of financial activities, he must manage and provide the charity accounts (expenses, income ...) and commercial director.
Determines the strategy and operating policies of the company's financial system
Analysis of results and management of the company
Leading financial decisions of the company, to ensure the best performance of company resources.
7.Stage of development
During the realization of the project some dudes has made us a headaches.
First we thought to have a soup kitchen simple and then include as many activities that are intended to prevent social exclusion (like the orchard).
We opted for the first option more. But do not rule out any specific activity because also can give us a bit of fame and this help collect donations.
We understand that the first year our organization would have losses but not the same in the second year. The second year we just no negatives and with a surplus that allows us to recover investment and to invest in the development of our project. The second year also would receive more money from institutions (Municipality of Alcoy, Alicante .. Deputation). The key is to be clear from the losses of the first year.
8. Strategic alliances
The Town Hall of the city will be our main collaborator .
In the meeting we have talked about how we could be helped by them, and which will be the must haves.
The department of Welfare gives subsidies to organization that works helping people, selflessly. Moreover, they can give us information of the people that not have a job nowadays, how many people are asking for some subsides...
But, the most important thing, is that they could be a encouragement to the young people to support and give their time in works like our, as a volunteers.
Summarizing this point , we think that the cooperation in this types of projects it's essential. As we could be help by others, we have to implicate ourselves and give support in other entities that also are trying to improve our city.
Without doubts, everybody will be benefits as a big group of people, that helps and it's helped by the others.
9. Main risks
The main risk for carrying on our project are:
● Increasing needy people number
● Lack of volunteers
● Lack of economical resources because people doesn't donate money.
● The impossibility of paying the local all the months
10. Legal aspects
Modify or build our local:
To start changing the distribution of our local we need a town hall's special licence.
Starting with our charity:
As our project is a charity, we have to be informed about all the fiscal advantages that it has, such as:
● Exemption when paying the property tax (IBI): assessed value of real and personal property and a periodic accrual.
● Exemption from paying corporation tax (IS): gravel companies benefits.
● Exemption from transfer heritage tax and any documented legal act.
Health conditions:
Is one of the most important points to take into account. We need to keep the place clean. We need to get a licence from de town hall and if we want to get it we must have all in perfect conditions. Also we have a compromise with people, we'll try to give them the best of us.
11. Environmental impact.
Garbage will generated daily by our social dining. This waste will be, or at least try, divided into different containers to recycle everything possible. Also during the year, you can do some courses that teach people to put down the waste or waste generated by eating.
12. Viability.
Once calculated the expenses, we can start studying the feasibility of the project.
We have tried to adjust the project to reality as much as we could and the results surprised us.
The visit to City Hall, where we were greeted by the Councillor for Social Welfare us completely cleared doubts if he did not visit the EBIC (European Business Entrepreneurs).
The truth is that we would have serious difficulties in getting the necessary incomes to undertake this project. By acquiring grant funds, we find it very difficult to reach the needs required to have a social dining.
After all the support and guidings given by the expirienced people, we have decided to change a part of our project to make it more real.
13. Conclusions after the completion of the project.
How we have just explained, we are not be able to realize the first idea and became it real.
Now we have to be more innovative and a new ideas and also a new project is growing.
14. A project more innovative and economical
Firstly, the problem was the economic financing that we found to carry out our plans.
During our meetings, we arrive to the conclusion that we were not able to do the project with our economical resources. We decided to focus the project in other way, more efficient and economic.
Here in Alcoy, the Town Hall belittled the idea of do a soup kitchen for people because of his difficulty management.
Solution:
While were in the meeting with the town councilwoman, that helps and treats us very pleasure, we occurred the idea of change some things with the realization of the project. Our objective, will be the same, but not in the same way. We will provide food, but we won't cook it and the people could eat in her/his house.
¿What we save?
Above all in the rent of the establishment and the cost of all the machines need to preserves in a good way all the food and conserves.
¿How we will do?
Daily restaurants and supermarkets throw away tones of food in our town to the containers, because this product will expire soon.
Our project consists of freezing all this food instead of wasting it. It will be provided and delivered to all the families that come to Alcoy Deepam.
With a system of alliances and collaborations we pretend to improve the situation of Alcoy.
Also, with this idea and type of help, we could save money of the Town Hall that is donating to all the families that are living in bad conditions. These numbers are growing year after year.
The frozen and dehydrate food could be l preserved longer.
For this reason, we provide with a product lot daily, adapted with his needs.
The fights in the back of supermarkets are very usual. The people is very desperate and they are trying to achieve something to eat day in and day out.

Diagrama de Gantt
OBJETIVOS GENERALES DEL PROYECTO.
cubrir por sí mismas.
2. Evitar que se desperdicie comida.
5. Que nuestra organización sea conocida a nivel local

Visiting to Town Hall
Visiting to Town Hall
Last Friday we went to Alcoy Town Hall for talking to the Social Welfare's Councilwoman about our project. We got a date with her and she helped us as much as she could.
First of all, we talked to her secretary and we agreed on a meeting with Aroa (the Social Welfare's Councilwoman), Friday 11th January at 10 a.m.. As we were at school, we had to ask our teachers for permission.
We were on time and we waited for some minutes because she was in an important meeting (politicians are always busy!). We explained to her all the things about our project and our plans and expectations in the future and the things we want to achieve. She paid attention to our project and she was absolutely fascinated. She really liked our thoughts! She explained to us the importance of teenagers like us getting involved in this kind of matters nowadays.
We were comfortable because she encouraged us during all the time we spent with her and we felt free to ask her all the questions that we had planned. She helped us as much as she could by answering all our questions and promising to help us in the future with the ones she could not answer.
Then, she sent us an email with information we had lent her. From here, we want to say to Aroa for give us her helping hand.

Being innovative
Being innovative in the CEEI
Last 2nd of January, we contacted with the European Centre of Innovation Companies (CEEI), and we arranged an appointment to talk to Roberto Payá Doménech who is the general director of the centre.
In our meeting we presented our project and he explained to us loads of important things to make a good Business Plan and gave us the example of the Canvas Business Plan Model which was divided into different parts and points to follow. Nowadays, this is very important because all the big companies are using this type of plan as an example to follow in order to create the new business and to draw the potential investors' attention .
We really enjoyed with the visit and we felt very pleased and grateful because of the explanation and the welcome that they gave to us and to our project, Alcoy Deepam.
